1. How to report an abuse
Individuals who encounter content they believe to be unlawful, harmful, or otherwise in breach of Flipsnack’s content policies may submit a report through one of the following official channels:
1.1 Reporting via Email:
Reports can be submitted directly by emailing abuse@flipsnack.com. To ensure a prompt and accurate review, please include:
- Type of abuse (Spam/Impersonation, Pornographic / Adult content, Harm to children / Child exploitation, Hate speech / Harassment, Illegal activity, Graphic violence, Assisted suicide, Other (please specify in the message))
- Exact URL of the publication in question
Flipsnack is committed to investigating all reports with due diligence. If, upon assessment, the reported material is found to violate applicable laws or our platform standards, we will take appropriate enforcement measures, which may include content removal, account suspension, or referral to competent authorities.
Please note that we do not take action on reports based solely on unsubstantiated claims or personal disagreement with the content.
1.2 Reporting via Web Form:
2. What happens after you report:
Once your report is submitted, you will receive an acknowledgment confirming receipt. All abuse reports are reviewed and assessed on a case-by-case basis by our Compliance Associate, who can be reached at abuse@flipsnack.com, and who is responsible for handling such matters and ensuring adherence to applicable online safety regulations. The case will typically be evaluated within 48 hours. If a violation is identified, appropriate measures—such as content removal or account restriction—will be taken, and you will be informed accordingly. If no action is deemed necessary, you will receive a brief explanation outlining the rationale behind the decision. Should you disagree with the outcome, you have the right to request a review through our formal appeal process.
3. Compliance Oversight
Flipsnack takes a proactive approach to safeguarding its platform and ensuring alignment with all applicable online safety obligations. To support this effort, a dedicated Compliance Associate is responsible for overseeing the assessment and resolution of abuse reports. For any concerns related to abusive, harmful, or unlawful content, you may contact our compliance team directly at abuse@flipsnack.com.
Important Notes:
Intellectual Property Rights: To report a publication that infringes upon your ownership rights, please visit our Copyright Infringement Page for specific guidance.
Action Taken: While we take all reports seriously, content removal will occur only after a thorough review confirming the content's abusive or illegal nature. Mere allegations without sufficient evidence may not result in removal.
